Italian Wine Podcast 548

Ciao wine brains! Have you ever wanted to ask Scienza about his process of ageing? About where was he planted, what added spice to his life, where did he ferment? Well, you’re in luck my friend, because we got you covered..

Now this is the story all about how
Scienza’s life got flipped, turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute, just sit right in dis bish
I’ll tell you how he became the prince of a town called Flysch
In Trentino-Alto Adige born and raised
On the vine yard is where he spent most of his days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all looking at insects out of the school
When a couple of wines, who we’re up to no good
Started tasting weird in his neighbourhood
He got in one little study and his mom got scared
And said, “Attilio you’re moving with your insects in Flysch-air”
He begged and pleaded with her day after day
But she packed his suitcase and sent him on his way
She gave him a kiss and then she gave him his ticket
He put his geology audiobook on and said, I might as well kick it
First class, yo this is bad
Drinking marzemino out of a champagne glass
Is this what the people of Flysch-Air are livin’ like?
Hmm, this might be alright
he whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh, and had a grape in the mirror
If anything he could say that this cab was rare
But he thought, nah, forget it, yo holmes to Flysch-Air
He pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And he yelled to the cabby yo, holmes smell you later
Looked at his kingdom, he was finally there
To sit on his terroirs as the Prince of Flysch-Air
