WINE2WINE BUSINESS FORUM – PODCAST CORNER
Must Read
Behind the scenes at the Italian Wine Podcast we’ve been busy preparing for the Wine2Wine Business Forum, Verona’s annual wine business conference. This year the focus of the Forum is on Wine Communication. The Italian Wine Podcast will be broadcasting live from the venue on 7 and 8 November. We’ve even set up our own on-site recording studio, Podcast Corner, where our regular podcast hosts, Polly Hammond, Steve Raye and Cynthia Chaplin, will be joined by Chris Scott from the UK Wine Show, the UK’s first and longest-running wine podcast. We’ve got a fantastic selection of guests lined up, as well as a few surprises so, if you’re at the Forum in November, why not come along and say hello?

GITA SCOLASTICA IN SICILY
Coming Soon
Several Gita Scolastica (or field trips if you prefer) are organised each year by the Vinitaly International Academy (VIA) as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting and educating about Italian wine. Each field trip focuses on the wine of a particular Italian region and, as we speak, a group of lucky Italian Wine Ambassadors are in Sicily enjoying a full programme of winery visits, producer-led tastings and masterclasses. Our very own Cynthia Chaplin is writing a daily blog for the Italian Wine Podcast from The Taormina Gourmet and Mt Etna Gita Scolastica. Look out for a Saturday special podcast series from Sicily coming soon!

ON THE ROAD
Must Watch
Meanwhile, over on our YouTube sister channel Mamma Jumbo Shrimp you can follow all Stevie Kim’s latest On the Road adventures, including her dispatch from the WineCube event in Milan, the Ca’ Rugate Winery in Verona and a sightseeing tour with a twist!
