Marc Millon celebrates 4 years hosting ”Wine, Food & Travel” on the Italian Wine Podcast. In this episode, author and Italian wine lover extraordinaire Marc looks back on over 200 interviews with a variety of Italian wine producers and artisan food makers, with each episode taking his listeners on a gorgeous journey to this wonderful country. Marc’s long experience of Italy, going back over 40 years, gives him the unique ability to bring the Italian wine and food culture to life through sensitive and in-depth interviews of Italy’s famous and lesser known food and wine people. His book, “The Wine Roads of Italy” was published in 1991 and his most recent book, “Italy In a Wine Glass” was published in April 2024, to great acclaim, winning the Drinks Writer Award, The Guild of Food Writers Award, the Best Wine History Book, the Gourmand World Cookbook Award, and longlisted for the André Simon Food and Drink Book Award. Through his podcast, Marc engages with Italian wine and food personalities and uses his deep knowledge and considerable charm to create conversations that go far beyond the superficial and into the personal stories of each and every guest.
