I think I’ve found a few perfect matches for your next few weeks if you’re craving something a little different, a little dreamy, a little grounding, something to fill your afternoons with flavor and feeling.

Here’s what I’ve been loving lately:
- Everything Is Okay Amber Fizz (2023) + EERA – “Falling Between The Ice”
This Mendocino-born amber wine from Everything Is Okay is a sparkling natural blend of organically farmed grapes. It’s crisp, dry, and delightfully mousse-y, with citrus, orchard, and brioche notes that make it a perfect companion for a sunset vibe.
Pair it with EERA’s “Falling Between The Ice,” a track that captures the unconventional and uplifting essence of the wine. The music’s ethereal tones and ambient textures mirror its golden haze and gentle fizz. EERA should be in your saved songs—she finds the words you’ve been searching for and strings them through slightly out-of-tune guitar lines, just like the not-quite-white, not-quite-red hue of this wine.
You know, I think “white or red” in wine is the same as “black or white” in life—there’s so much more. And Everything Is Okay is the exact expression of that.
- Châteauneuf-du-Fargosonini Sagrantino + The Love Witch
This isn’t your average brooding red. This is a Sagrantino made by two artists, Andy and Alejandro, who met through art and brought that same raw, expressive energy into winemaking. Their project, Châteauneuf-du-Fargosonini, is about radical beauty and intentional rebellion: they make wine using grapes rescued from waste, an act of both environmental consciousness and poetic reclamation.
This particular Sagrantino is bold and structured, with gripping tannins, dark fruit, and a shadowy depth that demands your attention. It’s not “easy,” and that’s the point. It’s a wine that makes you sit with it—like a fever dream or a half-remembered spell.
On the back label, you’ll find this Nietzsche quote:

A while ago, I stumbled upon a little witchcrafty gem of a film: The Love Witch—Anna Biller’s intoxicating, Technicolor 2016 tale about a modern-day enchantress conjuring love, lust, and doom. It’s all velvet drapes and potions, ritual and desire, power and unraveling. A cinematic spell, just like this wine.

Priest Ranch’s Snake Oil is a wine that defies expectations and I can’t help but think of David Bowie as I stare into my glass, dark red glowing right back at me.
Its bold flavors and mysterious allure make it the perfect partner for Bowie’s “Space Oddity.” The song’s journey through the cosmos parallels the wine’s depth and intrigue, inviting you to drift into uncharted territories of taste and sound.
